Our strange world of words

Aqua Aerobics (Poem) October 1, 2009

AQUA  AEROBICS

by Lynne Whelon

Greying ladies swimming softly

Round and round and laughily

Never caring bingo wingies

Time of lifely to be free

Cast asiding weekly worries

Singalonging sixties hits

Lifty legs up knotty woggles

Watch out for your wobbly bits

After bubbles hot and lushly

Thinking then of urgely chews

To cafe toasty teacake waiting

And a plot of tea or two
